Peniscola Map - Located on the eastern coast of Spain on the Costa del Azahar is the popular resort of Peniscola. An ancient town with a medieval castle (famous for being the location for the filming of the epic 'El Cid').
Peniscola has some fine beaches and some interesting places to visit. On the picturesque marina there are a variety of restaurants where you can enjoy dining on some of the famous local fish dishes. Peniscola is also well known for holding a number of important cultural events.
