Palma Mallorca Guide

Palma Mallorca Guide -
Visitors to the island of Mallorca (Majorca), who are seeking a cultural experience rather than a sun and fun beach type holiday, will not be disappointed by heading for the capital, Palma, Mallorca, which has a large number of cultural and historical tourist attractions, requiring more than just a day trip to enjoy.
The main landmark of Palma Mallorca is the stupendous Gothic cathedral, known locally as “La Seu”, below the towering cathedral you will find the Moorish Palau Almudaina, which originally dates from the 13th century. Another of its best known attractions is the famous Bellver Castle, built in the reign of Jaime II during the 14th century.
Palma Mallorca is a working city and port, fishermen still set off from the harbour, much as they have for a thousand years or more.
