Cala D'Or, a former fishing village turned holiday resort on the eastern coast of Mallorca is popular with 'package holiday' tourists. Not spoilt by high-rise developments, Cala D'Or still retains some of its traditional Mallorcan charm and its coastline comprises some 4 kilometres of small sandy coves and beaches.
Most activity in the resort is centred around Cala Gran, the 'largest' of its beaches, here you will find a promenade and a variety of shops, bars and restaurants, the beach itself is only small and can get very crowded during the summer months, a trip to the beach at Es Trenc will find you with more space and less noise.
Cala D'Or is located on the MA-4013, it is around 65 kilometres from Palma de Mallorca and its Internatonal Airport.
