Torrevieja Marina - Super picture of the renowned Torrevieja marina, the marina is just a short walk from the town centre of Torrevieja and is located at the southern end of the promenade not far from the daily craft market and funfair. The Torrevieja marina is huge and has mooring places for up to 859 vessels, the maximum draught is 4 metres and the minimum 1.7 metres, it has a surface area of 93,000 m2 its position is 37º 57'00" N 0º 41'00" W and telephone number is 0034 965 71 36 50 Fax: 0034 965 71 42 66, it is the home of the Real Club Nautico de Torrevieja.

The marina is joined to the port area from where salt is exported all over the world, the salt is extracted from the huge salt lakes which lie behind the town. It is one of the leading exporters of salt in the world.

The Marina - Torrevieja

The marina can easily be seen by walking south along the promenade and it is situated close to the beach at Playa de los Naufragos. There are always a number of craft in dry dock and it is possible to watch work being carried out on the vessels.

There is a commercial centre within the harbour area with bars and restaurants.

A new marina is planned for Torrevieja with an additional 700 berths and docking facilities for cruise ships
