Las Ramblas Golf Course - The golf course of Las Ramblas is located about 3 kilometres inland from Campoamor beach and the well known resort of Cabo Roig, it sits side by side with Campoamor golf course.
The Las Ramblas golf course is renowned as being the most difficult of the 3 Orihuela Costa courses (Campoamor, Villamartin and Las Ramblas) and is narrow with a large number of trees, traps and tricky spots. It is a fun course to play, but is easy enough to walk around, set as it is amongst low rolling hills.
Designed by Jose Gancedo (who also designed the not too distant La Finca golf course at Algorfa), the Las Ramblas golf course opened in 1991. The course measures 4,761 metres when playing from the red tee and 5,679 metres when playing from the yellow tee, it is rated at Par 71. The current green fees are from 42 euros (2006).
If you are planning a trip to Las Ramblas golf course, the nearby resorts of the Orihuela Costa are well worth a visit and could be the ideal place to stay during your trip. The Orihuela Costa is a 16 km stretch of coastline, running from Punta Prima in the north (close to the town of Torrevieja), to Mil Palmeras in the south, some of the best known areas include Cabo Roig, Campoamor, La Zenia, Playa Flamenca and Punta Prima. There are some excellent 'blue flag' beaches in the area and some fine facilities for holidaymakers.
