Campoamor -
Located between Cabo Roig and Mil Palmeras on the Orihuela Costa, the superb seaside resort of Campoamor is a popular location for holidaymakers visiting this beautiful area of Spain. Having a good range of facilities and a couple of wonderful, safe, sandy beaches Campoamor is a perfect spot for a family holiday, for re-location or just for a chill-out weekend.
Perhaps best known for its fine golf course (Real Club de Golf Campoamor) Campoamor is also an ideal location for a golfing holiday.
Campoamor enjoys a wonderful warm Mediterranean climate and is ideally located to access a number of 'Blue Flag' beaches, some fine marinas, three nearby golf courses at Campoamor, Villamartin and Las Ramblas and is handy for all the bars restaurants and shops on the famous Cabo Roig strip.
To the south of Campoamor lies the Mar Menor and the Costa Calida coastline with some other excellent resorts including the sports resort of La Manga. To the north you will find the other Orihuela Costa resorts of Cabo Roig, La Zenia, Playa Flamenca and Punta Prima and beyond that the busy town of Torrevieja.
There is plenty of choice of accommodation in the Campoamor area with lots of privately owned apartments and villas available for rent on a long or short term basis. Golfers may prefer to stay at the Campoamor Golf Hotel which is located on the golf course itself and is about 5 minutes drive from the resort and beach areas.
