Places to Visit - Palacio de Jacarilla

Palacio de Jacarilla: Situated in the small village of Jacarilla in the Vega Baja district of Alicante, the magnificent country palace, the Palacio de Jacarilla was built around 100 years ago by the Marques de Fontalba.

Standing in twenty thousand square metres of stunning gardens, with fountains, ponds, wooded areas, and pretty walks the Palacio de Jacarilla is an excellent spot to visit, if you have a few hours to spare and are looking for an attraction, in this otherwise rather boring area.

In the gardens you will also find a picnic area, so you can bring a snack with you and enjoy it on the spot, there is also a small shop.

Jacarilla is situated between the villages of Bigastro and Benejuzar, to the south-east of Orihuela.
