Playa Flamenca Torrevieja -
The beautiful coastal resort of Playa Flamenca is situated just south of the busy town of Torrevieja on a stretch of coast known as the Orihuela Costa, part of the southern Costa Blanca, Spain. A popular area for both holidays and for relocation, Playa Flamenca has only developed in the last 30 years or so due to the demand for holiday homes in the sun.
Not a holiday resort in the true sense of the word, as there are no hotels in Playa Flamenca itself (though there is one in La Zenia and several in Torrevieja), the vast majority of holiday properties are privately owned apartments and villas, which can be rented from one of the many rental agents in the area or from the owners themselves, mostly via the internet or through local newspapers such as The Leader or the Costa Blanca News.
