At the time of writing (May 2009) there are a lot of road works in progress, so exact directions are difficult to give. When approaching from Murcia airport side you need to take the 'Dehesa de Campoamor' turn off the AP-7 motorway (junction 768), take the N-332 towards Torrevieja, go straight over the roundabout which says 'Orihuela Costa' in flowers (staying on the N-332), past 2 garages (one on each side of the road) straight over the next roundabout, down and up a hill, and take the 'Dehesa de Campoamor' turn off the N-332, before going all around the roundabout with the Farmacia, and then back towards Cabo Roig on Calle del Mar (if you zoom in on the map you will see Calle del Mar), it is marked 'Aguamarina', keeping the sea on your right, this could change without notice due to the road works.
You can use the same junction (768) if approaching by motorway from Alicante, and follow same directions as above. If approaching on the N332 from Torrevieja, go straight over the pyramid roundabout, then turn right just past Club Scala and Global Cars, take the left turn (marked Dehesa de Campoamor), go all the way around the first roundabout, go over the new bridge and you will be beside the same Farmacia mentioned above, take the left turn marked 'Aguamarina'.
