Cabo Roig Beach

Cabo Roig Beach - This excellent picture of the Cabo Roig blue flag beach was taken in August 2006. The beach bar has now re-opened after a lengthy closure, so snacks and drinks are once again readily available. The photo was taken from the marina end of the beach looking towards Aguamarina and Campoamor (the tower blocks in the distance).

Cabo Roig beach is very well looked after and maintained and is extremely safe for young families, and although it does get busy during the summer, it is normally possible to find a spot to sunbathe (as can be seen from the picture which was taken during the busiest time)

Just out of the picture, the marina has recently undergone a 2 million euro facelift and is generally recognised as one of the most exclusive mooring spots along this part of the coast. In the lower part of the picture you can see the beginning of the cliff walk which goes all the way to La Zenia and taking the walk is one of the 'must do' things to enjoy whilst in Cabo Roig - a great way to spend an hour or two.

The popular Cabo Roig strip is around a 10 minute walk from the beach and has a great selection of bars and restaurants with super nightlife and plenty of live entertainment especially during the busy summer season.
