This is the latest weather for the Costa Blanca seaside resort of Santa Pola located just south of Alicante on the Mediterranean coastline. Formerly just a sleepy fishing village, Santa Pola has been woken up by the huge amount of property development that has occurred along this part Spain's coast.
Santa Pola still has a significant port and its fisherment still bring in their daily catch, from the port in Santa Pola you can catch a ferry to Tabarca Island. Santa Pola is very busy during the hot summer months and is especially popular with Spanish holidaymakers who descend on this coast to escape the heat of the inland cities such as Madrid.
