Located just south of the busy coastal resort of Torremolinos on the Costa del Sol, Spain, Benalmadena comprises three separate areas - the old town Benalmadena Pueblo, the beach area Benalmadena Costa and the commercial area of Arroyo de la Miel.
Benalmadena is a popular seaside resort with a good range of facilities and has plenty of excellent sandy beaches and a wonderful marina area (Puerto Marina). Nearby places to visit include Torremolinos and Malaga to the east, Fuengirola, Marbella and Gibraltar to the west.
