Located between Cala Galdana and Son Bou on the south coast of the island of Menorca, Santo Tomas is the principal resort in the Es Migjorn Gran district. Located just 30 kilometres from the airport at Mahon (Mao), Santo Tomas has a decent choice of hotels and holiday rental accommodation, and is a fairly laid back family resort with two superb sandy beaches which stretch for almost 1 kilometre.
Among the most popular hotels in Santo Tomas are the Hotel Victoria Playa, the Vistamar Studios, the Hamilton Court Apartments, the Santo Tomas Hotel, and the Hotel Sol Menorca.
Don't expect a lively nightlife in Santo Tomas, though there are plenty of bars and restaurants for your evening entertainment, mostly dotted along the tree-lined promenade.
Santo Tomas can be accessed by way of the ME-18 from Es Migjorn Gran, turning off the ME-1 at Es Mercadal.
