Los Balcones - The popular Orihuela Costa urbanization of Los Balcones is located just south of the busy town of Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca, Spain.
Los Balcones developed mostly due to the demand for holiday homes in the sun and many north Europeans have purchased homes here both for use as holiday homes or to permanently re-locate to the area.
Los Balcones is situated on the banks of the large Torrevieja salt lake, in an area considered to be one of the healthiest in the world, having a unique micro-climate created by the salt lake.
Life in Los Balcones revolves around the Filton Centre, a well known commercial centre with a supermarket, bars, restaurants and a good range of facilities.
Los Balcones is ideally located for touring the Costa Blanca and Costa Calida and can be easily accessed from both Alicante airport and Murcia airport, Alicante is about 40 minutes drive away and Murcia 25 minutes drive.
The AP-7 motorway has a junction beside Los Balcones (Salinas Exit) and it can also be reached from the N-332 coast road, Torrevieja is just 5 minutes drive away.

Los Balcones is located just south of Torrevieja and is a popular location for holiday homes and for re-location. The resorts and beaches of the Orihuela Costa are close by and these include - Punta Prima, Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Campoamor. Los Balcones is a great location for golfers as the 3 Orihuela Costa courses are nearby at Villamartin, Campoamor and Las Ramblas.
Los Balcones Weather - The weather in Los Balcones is mostly warm and sunny all year round and the village enjoys a fabulous temperate Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild pleasant winters, making it an ideal location for a vacation or for re-location to sunnier climes.
