La Manga Club -
The La Manga Club which opened in October 1972 is a sports resort located in the Murcia province of Spain on the Costa Calida coastline. It covers an area of 1400 acres and enjoys a wonderful warm Mediterranean climate. The La Manga Club is without doubt one of the finest sports resorts in Spain and is well known as the fine weather training ground for the English football team, it provides superb sports training facilities.
Among the sports facilities on offer are golf, tennis, squash, football, paddle-tennis, swimming, lawn bowls, horse riding, water sports, hiking and go-karting, there is also a Spa.
Within the La Manga Club there is a luxury 5 star hotel - the Hyatt Regency La Manga Hotel and also there is superb 4 star self-catering accommodation in the form of the Hyatt Las Lomas Village complex. There are over 20 bars and restaurants within the resort and apart from fine dining there is a lively and vibrant nightlife. There is also provision for holding conferences and meetings and is an excellent venue for this purpose. The La Manga Club is about 20 minutes drive from San Javier (Murcia) airport.
