Map showing the location of the town of Elda, situated just inland from the cities of Elche and Alicante on the Costa Blanca, Spain. Located just off the A-31 from Alicante, Elda is famous for the production of footwear, especially women's shoes, and its Museo del Calzado is a popular place to visit in the town.

Elda has a population of around 56,000 and is separated from its neighbour Petrer by just a single road.
