Callosa D'En Sarria Map - The Costa Blanca village of Callosa D'En Sarria is located on the CV-755 north of the huge resort of Benidorm and close to the village of Polop. It is situated in the Marina Baixa region of the Alicante province and has an area of about 28 km2 and a population of around 8,000. Callosa D'En Sarria is perhaps best known for its production of the loquat fruit, the trees of which can be seen surrounding the town, the loquat has a succulent fruit somewhat reminiscent of an apricot. Worth a visit in Callosa D'En Sarria are the 18th Century church of Saint Joan and the 17th Century fortress of Bernia built on a nearby mountain.
