RAFAL MAP

Rafal Map - The arrow shows the location of the small Vega Baja village of Rafal on the southern Costa Blanca, Spain. Rafal is situated on the CV-911 just a little south of the town of Callosa de Segura, it has a history going back to the 13th Century when Alphonso X freed Orihuela and its disrict from the Arab stranglehold.

Rafal is well known for its love of music and in fact has its own Music Academy, it is a pretty village with a number of beautiful parks and plazas, while visiting you may want to take a look at the parochial church of Our Lady del Rosario which was built in around 1640.
