Here is the latest weather conditions for the city of Murcia in south-eastern Spain. Murcia enjoys a temperate Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters, with very low rainfall (less than 200mm per annum). Rainfall occurs mostly during the winter months with very little falling between May and October.
Murcia is a beautiful and historical city with a long and interesting history. Settled by the Iberians it was later inhabited by various civilizations and was occupied by the Moors during the Arab occupation of Spain (8th - 13th Centuries). The region around the city is mostly agricultural with vegetables and citrus fruits being the main crops, irrigated by the River Segura.
