Map and Guide for Aguimes Gran Canaria
Aguimes Map - Zoomable street map of Aguimes a sizeable town in the east of Gran Canaria, in the Spanish Canary Islands, well known for its Neo-Classical church.

It is also possible to view the neighbouring villages of Ingenio, Arinaga, Gando, Aguatona, La Goleta and Los Coralillos, you can also see Gran Canaria International Airport (formerly Gando Airport), to the north-east of the town.
Located in the east of Gran Canaria and having a population of around 22,000, Aguimes is a sizeable town which is overshadowed by the two enormous towers of the imposing Iglesia de San Sebastion church, which was built during the 18th century and is one of the Canary Island's best examples of Neo-Classical architecture.
The shaded Plaza Rosario is a pleasant place to take a break and watch the world go by, don't forget to visit the Parque de los Crocodrilos (928-781-723) a small zoo with shows featuring parrots and crocodiles.
Aguimes can be reached by way of the GC-196 from Gran Canaria Airport, it can also be reached via the GC-100 from Arinaga, or the GC-550 from Santa Lucia de Tirajana.
