San Antonio has an extensive choice of hotels and rentals.
One of the best known landmarks in San Antonio Ibiza is the Christopher Columbus Egg (Situated on a roundabout at the entrance to the town), claimed as the birthplace of the famous explorer, the Egg with a replica of Columbus's ship the Santa Maria inside, was erected in the 1990's to substantiate the claim.
Worth a look in San Antonio is the 14th century fortified parish church of Sant Antoni Abat, located on a hill in the Plaça de Església, it doubled up as a refuge during frequent pirate raids during the 15th to 17th centuries, it formerly had guns placed on the church roof.
There are some fine beaches nearby including Cala Conta, Cala Bassa and Port d'es Torrent. The busy fishing harbour is popular with visitors, as is the palm-lined promenade which runs around the bay.
