Denia Map - Road map showing the location of the northern Costa Blanca towns of Denia and Javea. Denia is situated on the CV- 736 just north of Javea (Xabia) and is a very popular holiday resort with around 20km of coastline and beaches to explore and enjoy. There are a number of great Denia hotels in which you can stay, or a selection of private Denia villas.
Denia's history goes back to the Neolithic period and was home to both Greek and Roman settlers in the years going up to the 3rd Century BC. Later occupied by the Moors during the Arab Conquest, Denia was re-taken for the Christians in 1244. Denia can also be reached by way of the famous 'lemon train' narrow guage railway which runs to Alicante.
