Mula is renowned for its Holy Week drumming processions which create a haunting atmosphere in the town. Mula is overlooked by a 16th Century castle (now in ruins but still worth a visit) and is the home of an interesting museum of Iberian art.

Near to the town of Mula are the Baños de Mula, thermal springs, known since Roman times for their healing qualities.

Mula is situated just off the main C-415 road from the city of Murcia around 20 minutes drive away.
