Steve Locke (or Stephen Locke) was born in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND. He attended Oak Green School and later The Sir Henry Floyd School.

A well known local dart player during the 1970's, 1980's and 1990's, he played over 100 games for the Buckinghamshire county team.

In 2003 he moved to Spain where he got married to Gill and started up a successful property rental and sales business.
