Berlin is the capital of Germany and is its largest city. From the period of 1949 to 1990 it was divided into East Berlin, the capital of the German Democratic Republic and West Berlin. The Pyrenees Mountains
The Pyrenean mountain range stretches for 450kms between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea and forms the frontier between France and Spain in western Europe.
