Here is today's weather for the charming little town of Oliva on the Costa Blanca, Spain. Always a popular location for Spanish visitors, especially during July and August. Oliva is well loved for its peaceful, sandy beaches and its beautiful Mediterranean climate.
The old town still has a maze of narrow streets, the remnants of a Moorish castle and a couple of lovely domed churches. Oliva holds its weekly market on Fridays and this is the perfect place to stock up on fresh produce. The Oliva Nova Golf Club which is nearby was designed by the famous Spanish golfer Seve Ballesteros.
Inland of Oliva is a large protected area of wetlands, teeming with wildlife.
