Punta Prima Apartment - Orihuela Costa - Costa Blanca - Spain. Punta Prima is situated on the N332 between Torrevieja and Playa Flamenca and is a popular destination for both holiday home owners and holidaymakers alike. It has a nice beach and it's own strip of bars and restaurants although it is within walking distance of the busy Flamenca Beach complex with its huge selection of shops, bars and restaurants. It is well known for it's Sunday car boot sales and there are often two competing with each other one on each side of the road. Punta Prima is just a short drive or a long walk from the bustling Saturday market at Playa Flamenca and is also just a short drive from the busy town of Torrevieja. There are some super facilities in Torrevieja including the Aqua Splash water park, the promenade fun fair (great for young children) and the promenade craft market. There is also a cinema and a twenty lane tenpin bowling alley. Football fans could take an afternoon out to watch the local heroes FC Torrevieja in action. If culture is more your thing then the historical cities of Murcia, Cartagena, Orihuela (with it's magnificent churches, palaces and monasteries) and Elche ("city of palms" - surrounded by Europe's largest palm forest) are all within an hours drive. All in all Punta Prima is a great location for a holiday home or simply for a relaxing holiday.
