Ground floor apartment in gated block within a gated community well away from the main road, the apartment has one bedroom with twin beds, lounge with 2 double sofa beds, american style, fully equipped kitchen, full bathroom, tiled patio area for sunbathing (loungers provided) and outside dining (table and chairs provided), communal swimming pool just a hop, skip and a jump from the apartment, communal solarium for fine sea views and more sunbathing.
The apartment is situated at the back of the main strip, so is really handy for shops, bars and restaurants, and is perfect for golfers as it is within a short drive of the 3 Orihuela Costa golf courses at Campoamor, Villamartin and Las Ramblas.
Cabo Roig is an extremely popular coastal resort on the southern Costa Blanca, it has beautiful, safe, sandy beaches, a fine marina, a lively nightlife scene and a good range of shops, bars and restaurants. It is a good base for exploring the Costa Blanca and Costa Calida, with interesting historical cities nearby, such as Murcia, Alicante and Cartagena.
Local attractions include the water parks at Torrevieja (Aquopolis) and Ciudad Quesada, the Saturday market at Playa Flamenca, the Go-Karts at Punta Prima, the Rio Safari Elche, the mud baths at Lo Pagan on the Mar Menor, the Roman ruins at Cartagena, the fun fair on Torrevieja's promenade, the Santa Barbara Castle Alicante, the palm forest at Elche, Murcia cathedral, and the theme parks of Benidorm (ie Terra Mitica), which are within a hour and a half drive of Cabo Roig.
The apartment is just 20 minutes drive from Murcia (San Javier) airport and 45 minutes drive from Alicante airport. We can also organise car rental or airport transfers should you need either or both.
