Bourganvillia Picture

A brilliant show of colour from a bourganvillia, a genus of climbing plants originating in South America. The bourganvillia has huge, sharp thorns and thick, woody stems. It is hardy in the right climate and will often flower all year through (depending on variety). The main show of colour comes from thin bracts which surround the small inconspicuous flower.
