Benidorm Holidays - Nowadays the most visited seaside resort in the whole of Europe, Benidorm welcomes over 4 million holidaymakers each year. Booking Benidorm holidays has become a big business and there is a huge choice available.
Those of you wishing to book a Benidorm holiday will have two distinct choices available to you - one is to book a holiday in a Benidorm hotel (there are thousands of hotel rooms available), the other is to book a private Benidorm apartment or villa (Benidorm boasts over 200,000 privately owned apartments).
Why Benidorm? You might ask, well there are a multitude of reasons for choosing Benidorm as your holiday resort and these include a wonderful sunny climate all year round (Benidorm weather is warm and temperate with over 300 sunny days each year), superb facilities, great entertainment (Benidorm nightlife is second to none), amazimg theme parks (check out Aqualandia, Terra Mitica, Mundomar Exotic Animal Park and the Terra Natura), superb beaches (Playa Poinente and Playa Levante are the main ones), and an interesting history (there are some fabulous historical and cultural sites to visit in the area - Castell de Guadalest is one fine example).
Ease of transport is another great plus for those choosing a Benidorm holiday - excellent roads and close proximity to Alicante airport (just 30 minutes drive), make Benidorm an easy resort to get to. If you are planning to do some touring during your Benidorm holiday, you may wish to hire a car, and you will find that there are plenty of Costa Blanca car hire companies to choose from. It is possible to book a car which can be picked up directly from the airport, or alternatively you can arrange for one to be delivered to your holiday destination in Benidorm. A car will give you greater flexibility to tour the surrounding towns and villages and give you the opportunity to see a little of the real Spain which has disappeared from many of the coastal Costa Blanca resorts.
Where you book your Benidorm holiday is of course your own choice - there are plenty of package style holidays available from the big tour companies and there is also plenty of Benidorm holiday accommodation available on the internet. There are some companies specialising in Benidorm hotels and others who deal exclusively in privately owned apartments, there are also plenty of opportunities to rent directly from the owner in Benidorm and many other nearby resorts, for instance Denia, Calpe, Moraira and Javea.
