The bus stop is 2 mins walk away. Other attractions on your doorstep is the new 3km La Mata beach promenade, excellent street markets in La Mata and Torrevieja, the new Habaneras shopping centre is a 10 mins drive away and boasts some very fashionable stores, bars, restaurants and cafes. There is a ten pin bowling alley, a casino and large Carrefour hypermarket. If you fancy a round of golf there are three excellent courses just 10 mins drive inland at Las Rambles, Villamartin and Campoamor; the superb La Finca course is about 20 mins drive away in Algorfa.
Information for Golfers -
Within 10 minutes drive is the Villamartin Championship Golf Course, which has an abundance of olive trees and well placed bunkers to make it a challenging course for players of all abilities. If that was not enough to tempt the golfers, within 5 mins drive there are two more! Las Ramblas, which is a stunning, but short course and is most challenging.

Finally we have Campoamor, which is situated in two valleys with magnificent views and a beautiful clubhouse to finish off the day! It is important to know that no handicap is required for these local courses. For the hard to please a 30 min drive further south will bring you to La Manga the world famous golf resort with three 18-hole courses to choose from. So bring your handicap card (just in case) as well as plenty of sunscreen. What more can the enthusiastic golfer ask for!
