On entering Benissa, at the second roundabout turn right and follow signs to Senija, passing through Lliber and Jalon to Alcalali, approx 5km. On reaching Alcalali, follow signs to the La Solana Restaurant, Los Naranjos 6 is 50mtres past the restaurant on the right hand side.

The Surrounding Area

Alcalali is an historic village dating back to the Moorish occupation of Spain. It lies in the centre of the picturesque Jalon valley, an area surrounded by verdant green mountains 12 months of the year, and sloping down to a valley floor planted with lemon and orange groves, and grape vines producing the famous Jalon Valley red and muscatell dessert wines. The village itself has all the necessary facilities to sustain daily living, and has a village square which buzzes with activity from its 3 local Spanish bars.
